Viking is a free/open source program to manage GPS data (inc GPX, FIT, TCX and KML files). You can import and plot tracks, routes and waypoints, show OpenStreetMaps (OSM), Bing Aerial and other maps, generate Mapnik maps, geotag images, make new tracks, routes and waypoints, see real-time GPS position, etc. It is written mostly in C with GTK
Maybe because an average finger is too big to hit the arrow. I don't know. Anyway I had to give up with using my fingers at that point and use the trackpad to put the pointer on that arrow and then click.
In the image on https://github.com/viking-gps/viking/issues/263#issue-2267302784 I found on a Chromebook, just using my fingers on the touchscreen, the only thing that didn't work was tapping that Up Arrow there on the top to see the rest of the choices.
