6 years ago (It´s entirely possible to implement this, but copyright issues makes it a can of worms. If ISBN would be present in search results covers could be fetched from Google covers, Adlibris or such but that would require to load and parse each detail page. The search result page only serve a local database id that isn't useful for this purpose.
So - I'm leaving this one unimplemented)
Arena and Koha often display images in the hit list. These could be helpful in some cases (like when user is present and is unsure of exact title but remembers how the book looks)
