Regular admins can't access custom posts in Appearance --> Menus #569

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

My admin users can't access the custom posts under Appearance --> Menus. As a
super admin, I get lists of my custom types to add to the menu, but the other
admin users can't see this. They can see and do everything else connected to
cctm as far as I know.

I assume this is not the way it's supposed to work, or can I give them access
somehow?

Are you using a multi-site installation? I've gotten many reports about
difficulties when running multi-site setups, but unfortunately the limitations
of WP here make it extremely difficult to test multi-site functionality since
it is not compatible with most development environments.

Perhaps this will help? You can customize the permissions of the menu and its
items.

It's not a multi-site installation. I tried changing the permission anyways in
accordance with that link and unfortunately i didn't help. The admin user does
have access to all the relevant pages, it's just that the option to add posts
of the custom created types are not possible on the wp-admin/nav-menus.php
page. Even though they're accessible for the super admin user.
