[Feature Request] Crop layer #387

I apologize if it's somehow there, but I didn't find a way how to crop a single layer (I'd somehow expected it in crop menu or layer transformations), the current crop function crops only the whole canvas, right?

You can manually delete sides or select area and use Menu > edit > "copy selection" to copy croped area from current layer into another layer. Yes, crop tool only crops all canvas.

Ok, it seems that 'copy selection' pretty much does the trick, thanks :-)
