The menu text for non-selected text is the same colour as the menu itself so 
you can't see what the menu options are.

Another issue is the background colour.  Can you please allow the user to 
select the background colour/colour scheme.  I prefer a black background to 
white on my AMOLED screen because it uses less battery and it is easier to read.

What model is your phone and what Android version are you running? The colors 
depend greatly on those factors and it would help troubleshooting.

Also, which menu are you refering to?

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S 2 with stock Android Version 4.0.4.

It is the menu that appears when you press the Menu button on the phone.
