Upgrading the Travis-CI testing to test several distributions of Ubuntu which map onto different compiler versions:

Ubuntu 16: Xenial, c++11 Ubuntu 18: bionic, c++14 Ubuntu 20: focal, c++17

@gerudo7 Note: based on this I think even after these (Pre-Review) upgrades we should only go to v1.3.0 and not v2.0.0.
