I can help. All the talks there were amazing and I believe they are worth translating.
Awesome thanks @ujihisa ! I look forward to seeing the results :) :+1:
Wow I got surprised that YouTube already put caption both in Japanese and English. Some parts aren't recognized correctly but seemed mostly fine surprisingly.
Wow, Is it auto translation?
I took a look at auto translation(!), but it's far from perfect I guess.
Hmm, I don't know how to add subtitles to youtube videos (or just improving auto caption?), but from a quick read (https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2734796) , in order to edit or add subtitles you need to own the videos...?
It looks like auto-translation. I'm guessing it first generated Japanese subtitles and then probably translated those into English (and all of the other languages available).
Also agreed...far from perfect :) I know there are a lot of joke videos making fun of Youtube's ability to correctly generate subtitles :)
From the link @haya14busa provided, it looks like you need to own the video to modify or add your own subtitles under the Video Manager settings. Hm.
@ujihisa @haya14busa I could add you two to vim-jp admin. It can manage videos on youtube (maybe able to edit subtitles too). Please register Google+ account and add vim-jp page to your circle

@koron I'm really sorry for the late reply.
I registered Google+ account now and I want to work on editing English subtitles when I get some free time.
@haya14busa I have invited you to vim-jp admin. Please accept that invitation.
@koron Thank you for the invitation. I accepted the invitation and confirmed I can now edit the subtitles.

Hey all,
Just discovered your videos for VimConf2014 and would love it if they had English subtitles! I watched a few on your YouTube channel and appreciated the english slides, but if anyone is able to translate the videos that would be great.
Thank you!
