This list covers all of the major anime genres there are. While it is non-exhaustive, this list is more than sufficient to cover almost all animes. We do not consider this as Overzealous input validation as the design choice to include such restrictions was clearly mentioned in the DG. It is to be noted that such a restriction does not drastically impact the overall experience of the user when using this application. The restriction was made to ensure a better experience when using the stats functionality of the application. We also stated that we plan to add the feature of adding new genres in the future in a more careful way to avoid introducing more bugs into the application.
We will be rejecting this bug.
