Hey, thanks for the feedback! Some points that I would like to explain:
I think it would be possible to implement some of the things you mentioned, like the 1 tick delay.
The prevent hitting blocks feature can be turned off with the "H" key (possibly, the default configuration be off in the future). This way the average player could experience it normally.
And you're right about the Attack enemies through obstructions part, as far as I'm aware, it only bypasses grass. I agree that the description could be rewritten to better explain the concepts.
Finally, the auto ranged (bow, crossbow, trident) is core part of the mod and probably will stay that way, but I'm interested in collaborating with you guys to better portray the original combat snapshot.

(decobra#0968) Anyhow in cts, you can hit through grass, cobwebs, flowers, etc Since it doesn't seem like you are trying to emulate cts but rather take some stuff out off it, I would definitely be willing to help out!
first the combat test snapshots have a 1 tick delay if you hold, which doesn't seem to be in the mod (correct me if I am wrong) auto bow (bow, crossbow, trident) don't exist in cts at all "Prevents you from hitting blocks" (also not a thing in cts_ "Attack enemies through obstructions (similar to CleanCut Mod)" if those obstructions mean grass and stuff this is indeed like cts I would request reomving the combat test snapshot from the description or make it actually similar too cts if you would like any help with that we (the cts community could help you) https://discord.gg/ee7vWmUYZN <-- cts network where we could help
