Transmission processes dies when adding torrent file #117

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. sshed into box and top shows transmission-daemon running when no torrent 
files added.
2. added knoppix torrent via web interace
3. immediately after torrent added, top shows all transmission-daemon processes 
out of memory.

What is the expected output? for torrent file download. 
transmission web interface immediately displays connection failed (server not 
responding)

What version of the product are you using?
Kernel version: 2.6.16-gazineu
NAS version:    SNAKE OS V1.3.2 (20101130)
Storage Name:   snake
LAN IP Address: 192.168.0.200
LAN MAC Address:    XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX
Physical RAM:   Total: 30444KB - Free: 19404KB - Buffers: 860KB - Cached: 3528KB

 On what operating system? Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
previous snakeos-V1.2.0-20100621 had issue of transmission dying after a day 
and had to restart it via web interface. checked for update and upgraded ver 
1.3 from snake went successfully. new version documents a cron job to check if 
transmission if dead and restarted automatically.
now any and all added torrent kills transmission processes.

Using WLX-650BT sata enclosure with sda1 partion type swap but interface does 
not seem to use it.
sda1 partition created as swap in other linux distro.
sda2 is formated ext3.

This seems to happen right after each first announce per torrent.

Is anybody reading these issues?
