What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. no change to admin password or set up.Just changes on it's own
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
can't access NAS settings as admin. Nas still works connected to drives
attached as set up.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest version as per 2 months ago.

Please provide any additional information below.
HI all, I can't see the same blog/ question / issue listed so I hope I'm not
asking the same issue over again.

Anyway,
I was using my NAS with good success for a while when strangly my NAS would
change on its own. The admin password would not be accepted anymore but, the
NAS would work as per it's set up.
Odd thing that you can't connect (via the password and username you set up so
you can map the drive as the allowed user ), either. ie the admin and user
accounts
With that , I know it seems that it's just a password issue but, when I can
finally reset it. It takes a few turns for the unit to accept a password that I
set. And that has nothing to do with the length or complexity of the password.

BY the way I'm 110% on the password , and the ARP on the router doesn't see the
router after a while, even though it's working.

To me it seems that the flash is on it's way out or is there another known
issue?

I have to ask, I know this may be a dumb question but, I'de preferot be
silly/ignorant for a short while than forever . Does the MAC addy change as
well?
Are others having the same problem?
If so, did anyone have a solution?
