Firefox doesn't respect text selection accent color

Colloid (catppuccin) red: This happens with any color in any configuration besides obviously blue

Firefox should use the accent color as the text selection color as well as the color for a few other elements. Note that the navigation bar and a few other elements do actually use the proper accent color, as can be observed:

Update: apparently, this only happens if you use any dark variant, light variants are fine
