vinceliuice commented 2 years ago

open kvantum-manager to change the theme!

matiux commented 2 years ago

Ok, Have I to use this? https://store.kde.org/s/KDE%20Store/p/1499836

vinceliuice commented 2 years ago

Just download from github and run ./install.sh then it'll show in your kvantum-manager

matiux commented 2 years ago

Now it's a bit better but with the edges still something is wrong

Make a new file named: .Xresources in your user root folder and copy the code into it

matiux commented 2 years ago

I created the file with the settings you suggested but I fear that for my resolution (2 x 4k monitors) it is not correct. Now everything has become very small and the window is still not as it should

Did you changed your aurorae border setting? set it to no border!

vinceliuice commented 2 years ago

And change the scale to 200%

matiux commented 2 years ago

OK, if I scale a 200% borders disappears. However desktop gets too big. The right scaling should be 150% but with 150% borders come back

matiux commented 2 years ago

BTW I have same borders problem also with other theme

matiux commented 2 years ago

@vinceliuice the problem seems to be the 4k resolution. I have scaled KDE to 200% With "Force font DPI: 96" there are no borders but the font is very small If I set "Force font DPI: 192" (as the default of 200% scaling) the text has the right size but there are borders
