When using the default GNOME extension Ubuntu Dock, the icons in the dash show a too wide spacing. The extension itself is a fork of Dash-to-dock with some customisation but lacks the configuration options of Dash-to-dock. For now I am just using the Dash-to-dock extension, yet the Ubuntu fork is more lightweight and has additional features I miss in D-t-d.
