QogirBudgie in Ubuntu Budgie 20.04 : blue elements in global-menu-applet + wrong spacing #127

Hi,

as suggested here https://discourse.ubuntubudgie.org/t/playing-with-qogirbudgie-theme-and-yaru-icons/3697 one report per « issue ».

There are still some blue elements in QogirBudgie-Dark, in the global-menu-applet for example : qogir_yaru_03 qogir_yaru_04 You may also note the (no) spacing between sections in top panel global-menu-applet.

That is not Qogir in the panel, that is Arc. As you can see in the screenshots below Qogir doesnt have transparency for its menus and it is actually orange. Somehow you can get both themes mixed by just changing around themes with the themes and layout application of budgie. You can fix it by running this and restarting:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences theme 'QogirBudgie-dark'
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme 'QogirBudgie-dark'

This is not a problem with Qogir itself. You should report this to Budgie.

Qogir: 20200706201602

Arc: 20200706203656

Both mixed: 20200706210022

No, I don't use Arc.

There may be mismatches with Arc, but Qogir-dark was set everywhere in my budgie-desktop-settings.

So maybe an issue with UBudgie.

Ok, there's a detail you did not catch, I guess, « integrated theme ».

As soon as it is enabled, blue details appear here and there : is this expected ?

qogir_dark_but_blue

Remind : I don't use Arc nor Pocillo as I'm tired of seeing blue everywhere.
