Installing libadwaita Theme only installs either light or dark #656

I installed the libadwaita Theme using: ./install.sh --nord -c Dark -c Light -l

This works well bit all libadwaita apps only use the dark theme - even if I switch from dark to light in the gnome settings and in Gnome Tweaks. When using ./install.sh --nord -c Light -l then I can set the Light theme of course.

However, is it not possibel to install both in parallel for libadwaita so that libadwaita apps choose Light/Dark depüending on the current Light/Dark system mode?

Does anyone have a similar issue? I got this on 2 different PCs

My dude, what are you talking about? This is a WhiteSur gtk3 theme, it have absolutely nothing to do with libadwaita

And this commands you are trying to run, like 'install.sh --nord' also have absolutely nothing to do with anything here.

Are you okay?

Hi @hrqmonteiro,

there is a libadwaita support available in the latest verison using -l

See the documentation:

 -l, --libadwaita
Install gtk-4.0 theme into config for libadwaita.

Best greetings,

Sven

@SvenAbels yes, there is an issue.

I think the author have removed support for libadwaita, or the option doesn't appear anymore on the readme. However reinstalling the theme twhen switching libadwaita mode works.
