Through a cursory google search, I've found that this is similar to this issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/quuqhc/weird_looking_slider_knobs_in_kde_volume_and/ https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=445516
However, applying their fix didn't patch it out for this theme, while it did for the general breeze themes. It may have been that a recent update changed the behavior.
