I've tested in my Ubuntu Studio 22.04.1 with KDE Plasma, X11 session.
When the theme is applied, the folder icons are invisible. This is repeated when creating new folders under any circumstances anywhere. I can apply default folder icons by individually accessing the properties of each folder without an icon, but it sure wasn't meant to be and it's pretty boring to solve that way.
