Tyler: I'm really not sure why you are using hexagons. Is that the actual size and shape of surge zones? It looks cool but seems arbitrary. Also, It would be nice if I could just click on a hexagon 'price zone' and it would automatically direct me to the very edge of that zone so that I don't have to walk as far or be as precise in my click/tap. Not a big change but would be nice to see. Also the point count is an unnecessary abstraction. I'd rather see actual dollar fare estimates.

Drew: I really like dragging routes but its not very clear how to remove pins on the map. To finish the features of the app, it would be nice to have pins snap to the route. The next feature I want to see is an automatic total of points used by taking the current route.

Cynthia: You should do the following to complete core map/geo: Change km and k to probably feet/miles since those are the units we use in the US. For the last functionality, I think you should include the estimated fare pricing for the region. I'm also not too sure what "point count" means in the legend.

Andrew: The app looks good, good choice of color on the location pins are easy to use. You can take the information elements on the map and move them off the map to the side, but that is just a personal preference. I think you should integrate the Uber and Lyft functionality, when showing a route and pricing for it, I would just have both showing at the same time.

Anish: You should a walking route from the user’s current location to the location with the cheaper prices. That would provide a sense of direction as well as let the user see if walking the distance is even worth the price difference in Ubers.

Ashkon: You should add some sort of display for a calculation on the most effective route. It should display the cost for one of the ride sharing services instead of just the directions between two locations.

Joseph: You should consider finding another source of data to give fair estimates for rides. Hearing from the group that there is a long process to use Uber’s API, maybe there is another option to base the use as price calculations. For instance, I think it would be cool to see a shortest route estimate based on the nearby locations you can walk to. A shorter drive can save users money on these apps.

Nic: You should add the ability to enter in your final driving destination, so that the app can suggest pickup locations that are along the way and cheap. For example, if I’m ubering all the way to Solana Beach (north of UCSD), it would be better to walk to a cheaper spot that is north of where I currently am. Otherwise, the map interactions look very slick and I think this wille be amazing if you can get real uber price data.
