I should like very much that simulation of the TR808, but for some reason, I'm not getting any sound out of it. Any cue ?

Me too. I've been tricking around for ages and cannot get a thump out of it...

Reset. Then try this: start the player (yellow start/stop button), you will see the red lights will flashing across the measure. While the player is running, select an instrument (bass drum, cymbal, etc.) and click on a step. When the player hits that step, you should hear the sound. Stop and start the player, your sounds will still be in the same places. For part 1, it defaults to 4 notes per beat, for four measures. You can change the number of measures by stopping the player, selecting the part, and dragging the red circle to a step number; if you drag the red circle to step 12, that sets 3/4 time (by ending the part before the final four slots). Not sure how to perform a drum roll. Part 1 refers to the first set of measures; if you add a part 2, you get an extra set of measures, so that your composition lasts twice as long.
