error when starting gmap software #354

What steps will reproduce the problem?

- error when starting gmap software

log file report :

ImportError: DLL load failed: The specified procedure could not be found.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

impossible to run the software

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

windows serveur 2008 or windows xp.

Please provide any additional information below.

Sorry, I just tested it in a fresh install of Win XP and is working fine...

As you say fresh, Anyway if i m reporting this pb this because there is Really 
a pb. I m able to compil the soft again and the same result. It s works fine on 
7 but not on windows server. You can see it in the log file.

No need for anybody to tell me that s it works on there system. I know it works 
on some Os, but after trying on some other I got the same error log. And it was 
not on only one computer. !

This is something else you have running on your windows server, antivirus or 
some other program.

The log does not say much the must relevant part is "DLL load failed" 
You might want to get a real server OS like Ubuntu Linux

Agree with you for the server  but I don t decide for the Os I just have to try 
to find a way to run it over 2008 server. Anyway I figure also it was a pb with 
the dll loading but I don t know which one.

ok 
i check with xp version fresh install
works

then i install sp3 
and now its not working 

so i would like to know which DLL maybe involve in this pb
until the version 0.7.3 was working fine on all system but after version 0.8 i 
got some trouble
