resizing of elemens of historical thinking notation #3

The current set of notations are big and makes the map look cluttered. Can they be resized so that canvas real estate can be used more effectively.

RahulKondi commented 9 years ago

Kishan would able to do this. I doubt he's using the SVGs as is. He should able to change their dimensions with CSS or whatever else he us using. Resizing each one in Inkscape is insane.

Resizing each one in Inkscape is insane.

Unfortunately, that's the only way right now =/

I agree. Seems that resizing og svg images can be done with CSS or javascript or HTML5...

RahulKondi commented 9 years ago

@kishan, if it's too much work for you, I'll do it. Tell me exactly what all things need to be done. Things other than resizing as well. Like color. I'd rather do the whole batch once than do different things several times.

@RahulKondi you tagged from person. Think you mean @Kishan-Gupta

Kishan-Gupta commented 9 years ago

The only thing I need help with is recreating all the shapes properly for v2 or whatever we'll call the rewrite. Once the rewrite is done, I likely won't need your help with the SVGs.

If Vikram wants any modifications done right now, the only way to do that would be manually with Inkscape.

PS. You tagged someone else =P

@RahulKondi Can you look at UML a few more times and see if some of the notations can be simplified. I would like to get them drawn on paper as well and the current set are a bit complex.

I'll add @Kishan-Gupta to the assignees to address the technical part in the next major phase

RahulKondi commented 9 years ago

@vincentvikram I redrew the symbols for the tool. I'll try simplifying them as much as possible. But again, one does not have to draw pixel perfect shapes. Close resemblance would do since the symbols are quite dissimilar to each other. But I'll try to refine this further. Maybe by end of day, tomorrow.
