Support udfs #28

Hello @vincenzobaz,

this is my suggestion of implementing support of UDFs I also added some documentation to the README.md, tests and some comments.

Please let me know your thoughts.

@vincenzobaz I'm fine with this - if you want to rename you can do so as well (after merge) ;-)
