so, I reopened Konsole to your new split views... but...

it just behaves like regular KDE's Konsole.

I did split vertical, obtained 2 mirrored view of the same console. then I tried split horizontal, it turned the 2 vertical views into horizontal split and added a 3rd view of the same terminal... I know this is not you, its just the way Konsole is... OMG ... but who thought this would be normal behavior...

so, how do I activate your new split feature?

I got it, I had not done make install. I will play with this app for a little while
