having issues running sober on zorinOs #406

What problem did you encounter?

this is the error im getting. i have tried numerous fixes here that seem to not solve my problem including flatseal. id appreciate help and sorry if this is a duplicate issue or its just me being really stupid

Are you using wayland? you can check by running echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE

yes it is on wayland image

Install flatseal, then open it and click on sober, then turn off wayland windowing system and open roblox again

if you see a black window just try to resize it

i have accidentally deleted every driver i have on this laptop while trying to update graphics driver. i love linux. i will answer and close the issue if it solves my problem after re-formatting and trying

this seem to solve my issue and fps is great actually. very playable but however now i run into a new issue. i use VNC to remotely access this laptop like 80% of the time as its rather a server in my home that i use. VNC connection disables the mouse somehow and i end up with a stuck mouse with low fps VNC connection. any ideas on that?

oh yea im not planning to play through a remote desktop. my issue is that sober freezes the cursor in place and clicks wherever it was stuck on unless i move the mouse on the remote computer itself. my click inputs are sent but mouse moves are not.
