What problem did you encounter?

Trying to run sober on my PC, but it won't really boot up, and will always show a "Couldn't find supported GPU" error. I know it's probably obvious that the processor/GPU I'm running might be too old for this to run, but I want to figure out of there's anything else that's causing this (Like missing drivers needed to be installed or such), or it's just that my PC really isn't enough for it.

you have to make the kernel prefer amdgpu https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelBootParameters#Permanently_Add_a_Kernel_Boot_Parameter add radeon.cik_support=0 amdgpu.cik_support=1 to your kernel boot parameters, instructions in the link

you have to make the kernel prefer amdgpu https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelBootParameters#Permanently_Add_a_Kernel_Boot_Parameter add radeon.cik_support=0 amdgpu.cik_support=1 to your kernel boot parameters, instructions in the link

for future reference, southern islands cards need radeon.si_support=0 amdgpu.si_support=1 instead. you can use both if youre unsure about the generation of your card cards older than that can only use the radeon driver
