1 year ago Similar thing happened to me. In my game, the Flute was available in the store in Seasons. Ricky's Gloves were obtained before the Moosh cutscene in Ages. The Moosh cutscene did not trigger. After getting Ricky's gloves, Moosh's flute was no longer available in the store. If I try playing this again I am planning to avoid helping Ricky before I do the Moosh sequence in Ages, and to avoid getting a flute in Ages before doing animal sequences in Seasons. However I'm not completely sure if there is an ordering that won't lead to one of the two games encountering a problem with one of the animal sequences.
In Seasons, after beating D2 - when Strange Flutes become readily available to decide animal partners - they do not appear, either in the shops or from the Subrosian Dancing minigame (attempted 6 separate times). At this time, Ages has D1 and D2 has been beaten and Moosh has been interacted with to obtain the Rope and Flippers. Ricky has not yet appeared in Ages. Rafton has not been interacted with yet.
