[BUG] 1.12.2 ver: Crash on Pipewire #103

Open Vetpetmon opened 1 year ago

Vetpetmon commented 1 year ago

Describe the bug I recently switched my audio server from PulseAudio to PipeWire on Linux, and when pressing the reload key OR when the mod tries to switch tracks and play those tracks, it causes the game to freeze the keyboard and the mouse. In the main menu, no music plays. This might be caused by an audio library incompatibility between the audio library and the audio server. The Aether mod plays its music just fine, so do other mods that add in music systems. What audio libraries is this mod using?

Where playing in SinglePlayer or Multiplayer? -SinglePlayer

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Switch the audio server from PulseAudio to PipeWire
  2. Add music events for the main menu, loading screens, and in-game
  3. Start the game with the mod
  4. Main menu and loading screens don't have any music
  5. Enter a world
  6. Have the music tracks in the world change for any reason, or hit the reload button
  7. The game crashes by locking up input (To escape, alt+tab out to the launcher and force-close it, or REISUB)

Expected behavior For music to play and not cause a crash
