FYI, here is a clear example of this. I also found it usually only happens when I move dimensions and not if I load up in that dimension. This example is from Aether II, where I pause so you can hear only the custom music & unpause so you can hear it overlapping with the default music. https://streamable.com/dzq430
Describe the bug I set a few songs to play in a specific dimension, but then after a bit, the vanilla music started playing as well. This has happened a few times now. Also separately there is a modded dimension, which has its own default music that plays every now and then. I didnt like the gaps with no music, so I took the 2 music files, added 2 more, and it worked fine, except for the fact that the default music would still play every now and then and overlap the music that I had set. I am pretty sure these are 2 examples of the same bug, though one is for vanilla music playing while the other is modded.
Where playing in SinglePlayer or Multiplayer? -SinglePlayer
Expected behavior I expected the ambience music to override the default music
