3 years ago We ran into this as well. In my case it only seems to occur when the mod is disabled, but because Ambience can't work clientside any more it makes the mod unfortunately unusable, as it can't go in our server mod pack without causing problems for anyone not actually using it.
Describe the bug If the player causes any kind of damage to occur to another mob or themselves (e.g. Jumping in Lava, punching a zombie, touching a cactus) the game will suddenly crash.
Where playing in SinglePlayer or Multiplayer? This has been produced in SP
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: Do anything that revolves around taking or causing an entity damage
Expected behavior Not crash

Additional context I should mention previously I used to use AmbientSounds3, however, upon removing that mod, the conflict still occurs it seems. I haven't begun digging through to see what causes this conflict. However, sometimes after this crash occurs, the game will not boot afterward. It will crash on start up.
My apologies for the absolute laundry list of mods. I'll be doing some quick testing soon to see if i can weed out the problematic conflict
UPDATE: I created a new instance in Overwolf and installed only Ambience - Extras and upon punching a slime the crash still occurs. Just to make sure I wasnt an idiot and the Original mod was a dependency, I tried installing the original Ambience mod along side it, and forge will not load as the mod names conflict.
