What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. upload a photo with metadata in IPTC (tag & title) What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The title and tags in metadata should appear in Picasa Web. Picasa Desktop can read the metadata and upload those information along.

At the very least, have a "--title" option for posting so that one can take the information from an external tool (I use exiftool) and manually add the information when uploading. Please provide any additional information below. Loving the command line! Please keep up with the good work!

By ""--title" option I mean "--caption" option. Sorry if there was any confusion!

I've found the same problem. It's strange, uploading the same jpg using the picasa web interface results in the caption being available, but using googlecl "post" seems to strip the captions. Other exif info (shutter speed, etc.) is not stripped.
