Hi,

Since this mod is replacing the camera itself, do you know if it requires the MovieMaker Pro, or will it work just as well with the regular 8mm / super 8mm version?

Hi, The mod produces either jpg or tiff images. You can then use a free version of daVinci Resolve or VirtualDub to create the video from the image sequence. Hope this helps.
