Seems to have been a question before but it was just closed with no explanation, is it possible to change it to something like a smart plug? The phrase 'turn off the lights' is something I use often so would conflict with that.

My apologies if I closed the original issue without proper explanation.

I think we will do this soon, however I want to carefully plan it so that it's backward-compatible (ie: won't break older sketches when someone updates FauxmoESP)

@pvint Any updates on this? I would love to be able to set my device as a switch, that would be so sick!

Likewise, Paul. I would really like to be able to use lights and two state devices like switches and plugs. Any way this could be moved forward in the development plan?
