Since the transition from 2.4.X to 3.X, fauxmoESP has not lived up to its namesake as being a wemo emulator.
Whilst it made sense back then, due to the ease of Phillips Hue integration, the Phillips Hue ecosystem has fallen behind that of Wemo.
Wemo now has many more devices with custom attributes that can be emulated. I.e. Coffee machine, humidifier, crockpots, etc. These device types allow for much greater options in voice control than simply turning off and on lights with Alexa.
Request, transition back to Wemo emulation using pywemo library, which has multiple device types coded for emulation.
