Hello,

here is a Fork of xoseperez/fauxmoESP. It is a newer Version of fauxmoESP v2.4.0 with Alexa 2ndGen Support. All thanks goes to Xose Pérez.

Tried this too. No joy. I'm using a 2d gen Echo Dot firmware ver 597465220.

Same here... tried multiple times :-( Using amazon echo 2d generation Device Software Version 595530420. The esp gets an IP and then is prints "[MAIN] Free heap: 43856 bytes" repeatedly even when alexa is searching for devices. Obviously alexa doesn't find any...

@bibbbi Have you been able to discover and switch your device from a v2 echo/dot with your code? How should we debug it? I don't own any v2 device so it's hard for me but other people might help.
