3 years ago New gammacoronavirus names and taxonomy is from 2020 update. Most wild bird gammacoronaviruses were chucked into "avian coronavirus" wherein they should probably be in "duck coronavirus 2714" which also includes "duck coronavirus". I think pigeon coronavirus is an "unclassified coronaviruses" and not avian coronavirus. Avian coronavirus has been split into avian coronavirus and avian coronavirus 9203, duck coronavirus 2714 has been split out - h/t @michellewille2 - is this a case where NCBI is behind ICTV? Let's see if it would be worth an update
