At the moment this has not been addressed. I came back to it again thinking about the issue of when you you go from medium to low settings all the light entities switch off, and if your domain is dependent on light entities you would be plunged into darkness. Having this feature would allow you to have a world lighting switch on only when on low graphics in that scenario. No baked lighting needed in most cases.
Hello! Is this still an issue?

Hello! Is this still an issue?
When you use forward rendering (Android/Quest/other) the lighting setup is no longer ideal (no more dynamic lights). Thinking ahead, it would be good to have it automatically switch to the alternate zone setup for this. This would might also be useful for the deferred renderer on low spec machines. Not entirely sure how to implement this, but I think the most user-friendly would be an extra tab on zone settings with all the same options marked as "alternate" or "lite" or something like this Maybe within said tab, a couple checkbox's for "use with forward renderer" and "use with lite graphics" etc. Discuss!
