Configurable units of measurement, ideally localization.

This repo will use US standards:

• Fahrenheit degrees instead of Celsius
• Gallons instead of cubic meters
• oz instead of ml ...

I hate these measurements as much as anyone else, but living in the US, I need to accept the reality.

It would be very nice if this could be configurable, ideally based on a localization string.
