Defect Description:
The simulation continues even if the first step is not performed properly i.e if a sample is not selected from the given two and as a result the answer is given for the default sample which is the first one in this case.
Steps to reproduce the defect:

Expected Result:
The simulation must not proceed unless a sample is selected or it should mention which sample it takes as default in case a sample is not selected.
Actual Result:
