Also, could you please update the current tag as the previous tag and the tag mentioned in the current hosting request is v1.1.0.

AnushaSalian commented 4 years ago

Branch/Tag: master/V1.1.0 @sravanthimodepu

sravanthimodepu commented 4 years ago

The tag v1.1.0 was created on 6th January with the last commit. Please create a new tag as v1.1.1 for the latest commit which should be hosted, else we will lose the previous commits.

sravanthimodepu commented 4 years ago

Please follow the steps to create a tag:

  1. Go to the repository
  2. Click on releases
  3. Click on draft new releases.
  4. Give "tag version (eg. v1.0.0 comparing with the previous version)"
  5. Give release title name
  6. Describe the release
  7. Click on publish release

You can refer this as an example.

AnushaSalian commented 4 years ago

I have created a tag. The new tag is v1.1.1
Do we need to create a new tag every time we commit? Thank you @sravanthimodepu

sravanthimodepu commented 4 years ago

No need to create a tag every time. Create a tag with all the changes which you have done for this release, along with proper description in the tag description.

sravanthimodepu commented 4 years ago

@AnushaSalian Hosted the Fluid Mechanics lab, please let me know if the changes are updated or not.

AnushaSalian commented 4 years ago

The changes are updated.

Thank you. @sravanthimodepu

Request to edit sections of Fluid Mechanics Lab (http://fm-nitk.vlabs.ac.in/)

Lab Section Name - New content

Introduction : Fluid mechanics is the branch of physics that deals with the study of all fluids under static and dynamic situations. Fluid mechanics can be divided into fluid statics, the study of fluids at rest; and fluid dynamics, the study of the effect of forces on fluid motion. This study area deals with many and diversified problems such as surface tension, fluid statics, flow in enclose bodies, or flow round bodies (solid or otherwise), flow stability, etc. It is important to understand the functioning principles and characteristics of fluid motions from an engineering point of view.

Target Audience : This course is primarily for Sophomore and above students pursuing a Bachelor's program in Civil or Mechanical or related engineering field.

Course Alignment : Following are the courses in which one can come across the theory connected to the experiments in this lab

@SOLVE-NITK

Please provide the "Objective" of the lab.

SOLVE-NITK commented 2 years ago

Objective:

The main objective of the lab is to understand the behavior of fluids under various forces at different atmospheric conditions and to determine the various fluid flow parameters in pipes and open channels.
