There are 4 experiments in 3d printer lab those have been uploaded on gitlab:

  2. cartesian-system-dei http://vlabs.iitb.ac.in/gitlab/vlabs-dev-central-hosting/3d-printing-dei/cartesian-system-dei/tree/developer This experiment is about the construction of cartesian 3D printer. Different parts of the cartesian 3D printer and their assembly is illustrated.

  3. delta-3dmachine-dei http://vlabs.iitb.ac.in/gitlab/vlabs-dev-central-hosting/3d-printing-dei/delta-3dmachine-dei/tree/developer This experiment is about the construction of delta 3D printer. Different parts of the delta 3D printer and their assembly is illustrated.

  4. polar-3dmachine-dei http://vlabs.iitb.ac.in/gitlab/vlabs-dev-central-hosting/3d-printing-dei/polar-3dmachine-dei/tree/developer This experiment is about the construction of polar 3D printer. Different parts of the polar 3D printer and their assembly is illustrated.

Introduction: 3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced cross-section of the object. 3D printing is the opposite of subtractive manufacturing which is cutting out / hollowing out a piece of metal or plastic with for instance a milling machine. 3D printing enables you to produce complex shapes using less material than traditional manufacturing methods.

We don't have read permission to "FDM Anatomy of 3D Printer Machine" experiment and we have requested IITB to provide us with access. Lab will be hosted as soon as the access is given.

@priya100raman Dear mam,

Presently, only 'main' branch is available in the 3d lab repo. We are unable to create dev and testing branches. Kindly help in this regard. Do we have to provide any info for creation of the mentioned branches?

@pavanchow Yes sir, these releases might have been tagged with wrong branch. So, kindly guide what can we do now? Do we have to tag them again? Also confirm which branch is to be tagged, main or dev? Apologies for late response.

@pavanchow Sir, some features are working well in the testing URL, but they aren't fully functional in hosted URL of lab. (Like some pages are not scrollable in the hosted link.)

Not any particular feature, but what I meant was scrolling. As in the experiment 1 (FDM Anatomy): 3D Printing Virtual Simulation Lab > Experiments > FDM Anatomy of 3D Printer Machine > Simulation On the simulation page, only two list items are visible. Third item is not showing there. But actually the third item is present there but it is hidden behind the footer. We can not scroll down in hosted URL but in case of testing link we were able to scroll down so third item was visible. As in the attached screenshot, I am unable to scroll down further. But in the testing URL there was no such issue.

Dear sir/madam Tha lab developed in Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra is "3D Printing Virtual Simulation Lab" but it has been hosted with different name as "3D Printer Virtual Simulation Lab(New)" on vlab portal. Please change the lab name.
