Following are the experiments in Biosensor Lab

  1. Design and construction of a microbial fuel cell.
  2. Demonstration of exoelectrogenesis using Caulobacter crescentus
  3. Deriving the I-V curve
  4. Impedance/resistance experiment using source meter
  5. Efficiency of sacrificial (aluminum, copper, manganese) and non-sacrificial electrodes (carbon, graphite) in MFC
  6. Proton exchange membranes (PEM)
  7. Cyclic voltammogram
  8. Tafel
  9. Phototrophic Microbial Fuel Cell using Chroococcus sp.
  10. Modular assembly of MFC to increase voltage or current.
  11. MFC in wastewater treatment
