Here's the initial error message when trying to run the non-spatial stochastic sim locally on Mac (M1-Max chip; OS 14.3.1; Rel local sims work fine); I used the BioModel "Rule-Based_Ran_Transport" tutorial, but I don't think it matters. This is not a problem with Alpha 105 on Windows, or with REL on mt Mac.
Error, 1 of 1 sim results failed to display:
'Stochastic' - /Applications/VCell_Alpha.app/Contents/java/app/nativelibs/mac64/libjhdf5.jnilib: dlopen(/Applications/VCell_Alpha.app/Contents/java/app/nativelibs/mac64/libjhdf5.jnilib, 0x0001): tried: '/Applications/VCell_Alpha.app/Contents/java/app/nativelibs/mac64/libjhdf5.jnilib' (mach-o file, but is an incompatible architecture (have 'x86_64', need 'arm64')), '/System/Volumes/Preboot/Cryptexes/OS/Applications/VCell_Alpha.app/Contents/java/app/nativelibs/mac64/libjhdf5.jnilib' (no such file), '/Applications/VCell_Alpha.app/Contents/java/app/nativelibs/mac64/libjhdf5.jnilib' (mach-o file, but is an incompatible architecture (have 'x86_64', need 'arm64'))
Subsequently trying to run local sims produces a shorter error message:
Error, 1 of 1 sim results failed to display:
'Stochastic' - Could not initialize class cbit.vcell.simdata.DataSetControllerImpl
