Sanguine is a web-based visualization tool built by the VDL and ARUP that visualizes hospital blood usage and associated patient/surgery attributes. It is designed to be used by clinicians, researchers, and administrators to understand blood usage patterns, identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes, and reduce transfusion expenditures.
Similar to the issue that was addressed for the heat maps - too many physicians listed and some with 1 or 2 cases. Can we set a minimum number, such as 3-5? And then could also do similar approach to heatmaps where we can scroll. Or, there could be mis-attribution of surgeries to surgeons if they did a different surgery during the admission...could check that in the database.
