What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Hacker's Keyboard v1.20 from Android Market.
2. Open its settings, then Input Languages.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Per the faq I expected to see Dvorak en_dv. It is not there.
http://code.google.com/p/hackerskeyboard/wiki/FrequentlyAskedQuestions#Can_you_a
dd_a_Dvorak_layout?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
HK v1.20. English system locale. Droid X running OTA OEM Android 2.3.3.

The name in the Input languages menu should be: English (DV) [en_DV]

The list is sorted alphabetically by language code, so it's in the English
section between Deutsch and Espanol.

If you're not seeing it, can you let me know what English language variants are
visible?

Also not getting en_DV to show up in HK v1.20 on Android 2.2. en_US is there,
and below that en_ES.

Sorry, I've been unable to reproduce this error, it's working fine on my Froyo
(2.2) emulator. Is this still an issue with the current Market version v1.22?
Have you tried one of the prereleases from
http://code.google.com/p/hackerskeyboard/downloads/list ?

If you're still not seeing "English (DV) [en_DV]" in the language list, please
let me know, and include the specific phone or tablet that you're using.

I'm planning to change the language selection for the next major version, but
I'd like to understand what was wrong with the previous one first...

Droid Bionic Gingerbread 2.3.4. I've tested with the 1.22 (market version),
1.20, and the hackerskeyboard-v1023rc6.apk. In none of these did I see EN_DV.
I see ..., el, EN_US, ES_US, fa, .... No EN_DV. This did not occur with my
Froyo phone (2.2) so I suspect it is a gingerbread only issue.

Cheers!

I've refactored the input language handling in revision 1e16e46c6706, can you
please try v1.23rc7 (or later) from
http://code.google.com/p/hackerskeyboard/downloads/list ?

Caveat: the available language list changes due to this, for example "en_US" is
no longer in the list, it's just "en" now, and that can confuse the saved
preference for active languages. I've hacked in a workaround that should keep
things compatible, but please let me know if you lose your configured input
language preferences or have other problems with it. Going to the "Input
languages" menu should fix things if needed.

Thanks for verifying! Fix included in today's v1.24 Market release (same as
v1.23rc9).

Bulk update - changing "Fixed" to "Verified" for old bugs.

(Background: I'm changing the "Fixed" status to be considered open, the next
steps in the lifecycle will be the closed states "FixInTest" and "Verified".
This lets me mark issues as "Fixed" in commit messages without hiding them from
the issue tracker.)
