prevent other keyboards from working #65

HTC Sensation.

Installed Gingerbread, worked nice. Installed smartkeyboardpro, worked nice,
but I disabled it and reverted to GB.

Installed HK ... nothing works anymore; whether I select GB, or HK (and only
one of them, UNticking other boards), I fall back in legacy HTC board.

I will try to uninstall other board, but, even if it works this way, HK should
not prevent other boards from working.

I don't think that this is related to HK, as far as I know Android doesn't even
provide any methods that would allow an IME to prevent other IMEs from running,
and HK is definitely not trying to do that.

It's possible that you've hit an operating system bug that got the IME
selection wedged.

Just to confirm, have you switched the active input method in addition to
checking/unchecking IMEs? That's a separate step. Try long-pressing on a text
input field, and verify which input methods are shown as available and active.
