worst error in game

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
windows xp pro 2002

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.when i start the game it opend in full screen with black window like every 
dos games do..and after that a music is going on but nothing in screen except  
black window.and i cant do anything,normally for this type of games if i ptess 
windows logo key on the keyboard or if press ctrl+alt+del for task manager, the 
game wil exits,but in this case nothing works i tried all but finally pressing 
the power button of my laptop for long laptop gets off,what a shit,

i played lot of games from dos games(ex:wolf 3d,) mario to project igi and 
grand theft auto but no problem happend....

if u can please help me with is problem...

hiii,
first of all sorry about late reply.and i am really very sorry about that such 
an error occured with you.i didn't get myself in that situation.This game works 
fine in Windows Xp,i have tried in many pcs.Dont know what is wrong,but u can 
try this...
-> goto user_settings.txt in the car race folder and open it in notepad.
-> change the line fullscreen=1 to fullscreen=0 ( now no full screen just 
window mode)
-> change vbo = 0 and try again.
If the problem still there,let me know
btw,this game is not a dos game but a 3d game.it is made in opengl with c++.
