CLI command capture verbosity option #5085

Is your feature request related to a problem?

I was in a meeting with Josh Kallman and Madison Martin, and neither of them had heard of our command capture in VisIt. I gave them a little demo, and they both seemed very excited to start using it. They also both seemed very surprised at the verbosity of the command capture and were wondering if we could enhance this feature with some kind of option that allows users to turn off this verbosity (only show attributes that were actually changed).

There are 2 things driving this request. Making it easier to learn the CLI from command recording. The second is just to reduce the amount of text to copy. There are issues here, such as defaults may change over time and people may have different defaults. This should definitely be an option and not the default.
