Hey there I have samsung m11 and om my previous phone I loved you app . But when I went to play store to download the app om samsung m11 it said it isn't compatible. ( it guess its because its 32-bit ) could you add the architecture for 32 bit, also please upload your app to f-droid.

visnkmr commented 1 year ago

All apps we publish are compatible with all available architectures, since we publish a universal apk to google play. Our apps do require Android version 5.0+ to work. You can try using the version available via amazon appstore. Unlike our linux and windows version of the app, since the android version of the app is not OSS till date, we are unable to publish it to fdroid.

I can't install it on my Redmi Note 10 Pro, only few of my older devices are supported. Can you update the app? @visnkmr

Hey, I was wondering if you could tell me whether it’s the appstore that’s showing it as incompatible with your device, or if the apk is not being installed. Please let me know. Thank you.

This is strange i am able to download the app from google play and amazon appstore from my android devices running on android 5, 9, 11, 12, 13. Could you please post a screenshot of where it is showing as incompatible, this is just for reference. This will help me understand the issue better.

This is how it looks when I open Play Store from a computer: image

Redmi M2101K6G (greyed out option) is my main phone - Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro - on this device I wanted this app. It runs on Android 13. Xperia Tablet (both) run on unofficial rom - Android 9 TECLAST M40 - Android 10 Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 - Android 9 Nokia T21 (greyed out) - Android 12

From my perspective it doesn't run on Android 12 and Android 13.

And here is the screenshot from Play Store app on Redmi Note 10 Pro: image

it just says "This phone is not compatible with this application"

FireShot Capture 003 - Device catalogue - Time NetSpeed Monitor - play google com

Thanks for the screenshots. From our end, According to Google Play, our app should be supported on both devices, could you please confirm if the device default language on the device is different for the two devices. are they using english or is it different?

it's polish for all my devices

I will try to contact Google Play for clarification while looking for other possibilities. In the meantime if you wish to use the app you can download it from amazon appstore.

When can we expect Android version to be open sourced?

visnkmr commented 1 year ago

Currently I have no timeframe as to when the android version will be open sourced. The PC version is open source and a new version was released an hour ago netspeed_pc, if you're intrested. You can check out all our open source projects in my github profile home.
