VF Pagination update as per Intranet implementation

VF Pagination component needs to be reviewed and changes need to be made as per the recent implementation in Intranet Possible changes :

• Previous, Next link don't work correctly for single page
• Styling changes
• Responsive changes (Open seperate ticket if needed)

On investigating the design and implementation of the vf-pagination on the intranet project, here are some areas of improvement to be addressed for the component in the visual framework.

• General

  • Different design on figma and HTML
  • Ensure that buttons are disabled when needed. Reported issue(This was addressed on the intranet):
    • The pagination on the search results and Announcement listings page had an active “next” link for search results with only one page. (Search listing example)
  • Ensure that when clicking on a link (eg: page “4” “5”), the page opens from the top

• Responsive solution

  • Design responsive vf-pagination component
  • Recommended minimum touch target size of 44px
  • Consider maximum number of nodes/pages shown

• Documentation

  • Add guidelines for the responsive variant

Next steps

• Update design of the pagination in figma to align with the version in the html site
• Design responsive version
• Update the documentation
• Add and publish updated design to figma library
• Implement changes

• The bug on the disabled state of buttons in vf-pagination
• Scrolling back to the top after clicking on the links.
